The results demonstrated that the obtained LAI map based on the optimal band combination of ZH-1 was generally consistent with the overall distribution of Sentinel-2 NDVI and the LAI product, but had a moderate correlation with Sentinel-2 LAI (R = 0.60), which may not favorably indicate the validity of indirect validation. However, the method of this study on the analysis of hyperspectral data bands has application potential to provide a reference for selecting appropriate bands of hyperspectral satellite data to estimate LAI and improve the application of hyperspectral data such as ZH-1 in vegetation monitoring. As an essential part of the transmission system, gearboxes are considered as a major source of vibration. Signal identification of gear vibration is necessary for online monitoring of the mechanical systems. However, in engine-gearbox systems, the ignition impact of the engine is strong, so that the gear vibration is generally submerged. To overcome this issue, the resonance-based signal sparse decomposition (RSSD) method is used in this paper based on different oscillatory behaviors of the gear meshing impact and the engine ignition impact. To improve the accuracy of RSSD under interferences, the meshing frequency energy ratio (MF-ER) index is introduced into RSSD to adaptively choose the decomposition parameters. Before applying the RSSD method, the auto-regression (AR) model is used as a pre-whitening step to eliminate the normal gear meshing vibration, which improves the decomposition performance of RSSD. The effectiveness of the proposed AR-ORSSD (AR-based optimized RSSD) algorithm is tested using both simulated signals and measured vibration signals from an engine-gearbox system in a forklift. Comparisons were made with the RSSD algorithm based on a genetic algorithm. Experimental results indicate that the AR-ORSSD algorithm is superior at identifying gear vibration signals especially when under strong interferences.Treatment of elderly patients with neoplasia is challenging. Age is a known prognostic factor in ovarian cancer but the optimal treatment of elderly patients has not been determined. We undertook a retrospective analysis to determine clinical practice in advanced-stage ovarian cancer patients older than 70 years of age. Methods Medical records of women with high-grade serous ovarian cancer, stage III and IV were retrospectively analyzed. Results A total of 735 patients were identified with a median age of 61.5 years. 22.4% among them were older than 70 years of age at diagnosis. First-line Progression-Free Survival (PFS) and Overall Survival (OS) were significantly worse in elderly patients in comparison to the younger ones [mPFS 11.3 months vs. 14.8 months, (p less then 0.001) and mOS 30.2 months vs. 45.6 months (p less then 0.001)]. https://www.selleckchem.com/Androgen-Receptor.html However, elderly patients were characterized by worse ECOG-Performance Status and they were more frequently treated with Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy followed by Interval Debulking Surgery, while often they were more frequently denied debulking surgery compared to patients under 70 years of age. Moreover, elderly patients received more frequently monotherapy with platinum as frontline treatment. In contrast, there was no significant difference in the outcome of the debulking surgery in comparison to the younger patients or the frequency that gBRCA test was performed. Age over 70 years did not retain its significance for either Progression-Free Survival or Overall Survival when adjusted for all other reported prognostic factors. Conclusions Elderly ovarian cancer patients have a worse prognosis. Comprehensive geriatric assessment should be performed for the optimal treatment of these patients.Thin-walled channel columns with non-standard cross-section shapes loaded with gradually increasing compressive force applied at the geometric centre of gravity of the cross-section were the subject of the investigations presented in this paper. The aim of the research was to determine which of the columns has the most favourable geometrical characteristics in terms of the applied load. The main investigation was an experimental study carried out using two methods strain gauging and the optical method. Based on strain gauging, the critical forces were determined using the strain averaging method and the linear regression tangent to compression plot method. In addition, modern optical tests were performed using the ARAMIS system. The buckling forces at which the first signs of buckling appear and the buckling modes of columns were determined. The results obtained from the experimental tests were used to validate the results of numerical tests carried out using the Finite Strip Method (CuFSM). Based on this method, the values of critical forces and the percentage contribution of individual buckling forms to the loss of stability of the compressed columns were determined.Elderly people are sensitive to loneliness, which may contribute to mental and physical health, serious illness, and increased mortality. This study investigates the development trend of information communication technology (ICT) interventions designed for the elderly to reduce loneliness and synthesize its effect. We searched relevant articles on 23 May 2020 using three databases Ovid-Medline, Ovid-EMBASE, and the Cochrane library. Data extraction and quality assessment were independently performed by two authors. The development is changing from animal robots to online social platforms and from simple emotional support to a multifaceted system that promotes social participation, cognition, physical activity, and nutrition. Our systematic review reported that ICT interventions are being developed to alleviate loneliness and increase social participation. Our study revealed an increase in the use of ICT interventions among the elderly and a positive change in their attitude toward ICT interventions. ICT interventions in the field of nursing should continue to be developed in the future to meet social, health, and safety needs. In the context of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), ICT interventions are needed to respond effectively to the needs of the elderly. This study is expected to provide basic knowledge for the development of ICT interventions for the elderly.
